Head of Product Delivery
Purpose of the Role
To create an environment where our software development teams do really impactful work, deliver great software in service of our product and solution strategies, and continuously improve. Aims to establish the organisational competencies, behaviours, and techniques needed to effectively deliver our product strategies over the next 5 years.
About the Role
The Head of Product Delivery has overall responsibility for the development teams in the Product division, with particular focus on the delivery, operational and people management aspects of the organisation. They work across Redgate to understand the business and operational context of our products and aim to develop strategy to improve our approach to software development and delivery.
They work as part of the Product Division Leadership Team to define objectives for the division, and work through cross-divisional groups (such as the Engineering Managers team) to deliver on these objectives. The Head of Product Delivery line manages and leads the Engineering Managers team as they collaborate and coordinate the management of the Product Development organisation. They focus on coaching, mentoring, and supporting these experienced managers, helping them be self-sufficient and solve their own challenges, rather than directing them.
