Redgate Software Progression Framework

Background

What is a Progression Framework?

Redgate takes personal development seriously.

We invest heavily in development opportunities, support individuals in pursuing Personal Development Plans, and see remarkable growth in both individuals and teams.

We've grown a lot as a company. While that focus on personal development has been a constant part of our DNA, it has also brought challenges:

  • How do we support people's growth effectively as headcount grows?
  • How do we support people pulling in a common direction?
  • How do we help people know the next steps they can take with us?
  • What new roles emerge in our structure, and how do they fit in?

Our Progression Framework attempts to answer all of those questions and more. By giving a structure like this, showing all our product delivery roles in a common framework, we hope to give people support in building development plans that support the goals of individuals and Redgate.
